The short version
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and later buy the product, the merchant pays us a commission. You pay the same price either way. We only recommend products and tools we would recommend to a friend, and we label every recommendation honestly — including when we have not personally used a product.

Editorial independence
Commissions never change our recommendations. We do not accept payment for positive coverage. We do not write sponsored posts without a clear, on-page label. If a product is bad or unsuitable for a reader, we say so — even if it would otherwise earn us a commission.

What we will never do
