Demonstration site — sample content from the Affiliate Agent Kit. The programs listed below are reference names; commission rates, approval requirements, and program terms are sample values and must be re-checked on the official program page on the day the buyer applies.
Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: sample date — replace on launch · Plain-language version below.
What that means in practice
Tenant Coffee (demo) is reader-supported. When a reader uses one of our affiliate links to make a purchase, the merchant pays us a small commission. That revenue pays for the domain, the time to research articles, and the occasional bag of beans. It does not change the price you pay, and it does not change which products we recommend — recommendations are made on the merits, in line with our editorial policy.
We only link to programs we have been approved for. Approval means the merchant has reviewed this site and agreed to the terms of their program; it is not a payment for placement.
Where disclosures appear on this site
A plain-language disclosure sits immediately before or beside the first affiliate recommendation on every article, and on every page where an affiliate link appears. The disclosure on this page is the site-wide statement; the in-article disclosure is repeated for convenience so the reader does not have to hunt for it.
The disclosure is never hidden behind a dropdown, only in the footer, or appended at the very end of an article.
Programs we participate in
The specific programs and networks change as we add and prune partners. Each program may require its own wording; where that is the case, the program-specific line is added next to the plain sentence on the relevant page, not instead of it.
- Amazon Associates — marketplace · (sample value — verify current terms on day of application)
- Specialty roaster / equipment affiliate program — niche coffee program · (name varies; verify current terms)
- Coffee subscription affiliate program — subscription program · (name varies; verify current terms)
Where a program requires disclosure of its own (Amazon Associates is the most common), the required wording is added next to the plain sentence on the article, not instead of it.
How affiliate links are handled on this site
- Every affiliate link is clearly marked with
rel="sponsored". - Affiliate links open in the same tab by default, unless the link's purpose is to compare; in that case, opening in a new tab is allowed.
- Dead offers are replaced or removed promptly; we do not earn from a link that does not work.
- Articles are written from a source packet before any affiliate relationship is considered. The order is: research, write, then consider monetization.
What this site does not do
- We do not accept payment to write a review or place a product in an article.
- We do not invent quotes, ratings, or testimonials.
- We do not make income claims presented as fact.
- We do not use manufactured urgency, fake scarcity, or fake regret stories.
Questions about this disclosure
If anything on this page is unclear, or you spot a link that looks broken or out of place, please use the contact details on the about page. We will fix it and update this page when the change is material.
This page is a template placeholder for a demonstration site. On
a real run, every {{MARKER}} is replaced with the
buyer’s real values; the plain-language summary is the minimum
the FTC and most affiliate programs expect — do not weaken it.
